Beyond the score

When you want the full picture.

The free assessment gives you a credible baseline in minutes. When you’re ready to act on it, our fixed-price engagement goes deeper across five dimensions — with evidence, scoring, and a prioritised plan.

Data Maturity Assessment

We evaluate your data assets — quality, accessibility, governance, labelling, and lineage — against the requirements of the AI use cases you want to pursue.

Technical Infrastructure Review

Current platform capabilities, integration patterns, cloud readiness, security posture, and the gap between where you are and where practical AI deployment requires you to be.

Organisational Capability

Internal AI literacy, existing skills, governance structures, and change management readiness. Where the human side of AI adoption succeeds or fails.

Use-Case Pipeline

A scored and prioritised shortlist of AI use cases with effort, risk, and potential ROI assessed — so budget decisions are grounded in evidence, not enthusiasm.

Regulatory Readiness

Your exposure to EU AI Act risk classifications, FCA/PRA AI governance expectations, and UK DSIT AI Assurance requirements, with a gap analysis and prioritised compliance actions.

How we engage

Five steps. No speculation, no slide theatre.

  1. 01

    Discovery call

A 30-minute free call to understand what you're trying to achieve, what you already have, and whether a readiness assessment is the right entry point.

  2. 02

    Structured discovery

We work through your data estate, technical infrastructure, and organisational capability in a focused 1–2 week engagement. Interviews, documentation review, and systems access where relevant.

  3. 03

    Scoring and gap analysis

We score each readiness dimension against the requirements of practical AI deployment — giving you a clear baseline rather than a vague "maturity model."

  4. 04

    Prioritised findings report

A concise report with your readiness scores, the most significant gaps, a prioritised list of actions to close them, and an indicative timeline.

  5. 05

    Optional: next step

If the readiness assessment reveals a clear opportunity, the output feeds directly into an AI Strategy & Roadmap engagement — no restart, no duplication of effort.

When it's right for you

Five situations where this engagement fits.

Pre-budget AI investment

You're about to commit significant budget to an AI initiative and need to know whether your infrastructure and data are actually ready.

Board-level AI governance

Your board or audit committee needs a clear picture of AI readiness — and a credible baseline before they approve or require a formal AI strategy.

Failed or stalled AI pilots

You've run one or more AI pilots and they haven't delivered. Before trying again, you want to understand why.

Regulatory scrutiny

You're in a regulated sector (financial services, healthcare, professional services) and need to understand your EU AI Act or FCA/PRA AI governance exposure before a regulatory review.

New digital transformation mandate

A new CIO, CDO, or transformation lead has a mandate to deploy AI — and needs a credible baseline before presenting a plan to the board.

Frequently asked questions

  • How long does an AI Readiness Assessment take?

Typically 2–4 weeks from kick-off to findings report. We compress the timeline by being specific about what we need from you up front — documentation, access, and a handful of structured conversations.

  • What do we need to provide?

Access to documentation on your current technical estate, data assets, and AI governance (or the absence of it). A few hours from key stakeholders — technical leads, data owners, and a business sponsor.

  • Is this a substitute for an AI strategy?

No — it's the input to one. Readiness assessment establishes the baseline. Strategy tells you where to go and how to get there given that baseline. The two pair naturally.

  • Do you cover EU AI Act readiness specifically?

Yes. We assess your AI use case portfolio against EU AI Act risk classifications (unacceptable, high, limited, minimal), identify which obligations apply to you, and provide a gap analysis against the compliance requirements that matter.

  • Can this be delivered fully remotely?

Yes. The entire engagement runs remotely — video calls, shared documentation, and secure access to relevant systems where needed.

Are you actually ready to deploy AI?

Two to four weeks. Five dimensions. One honest answer about whether AI investment will land — or whether something needs to come first.
